About

Pipe Band Aid (registered charity - SC052409) are a group of pipers and drummers from various bands across Scotland, who play together while our bucket-shakers collect money for charity.

Since December 2013, we have held 16 different fundraising events, which have raised a total of £49,897 for 23 different charities and organisations.

March 2024 - Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Bannockburn. £3500 for Strathcarron Hospice

Sep 2023 - Kilt Walk - £4,300 raised for Maggies Centres in Glasgow and Edinburgh

Jul 2023 - Edinburgh pubs - £5,000 raised for Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity

Dec 2022 - Glasgow pubs - £3,640 raised for Clyde 1 Cash For Kids

Sep 2022 - Ben Nevis Challenge - £2,655 Adapted Wheelchair Fundraiser 

Aug 2022 - Kilsyth and Cumbernauld pubs - £1230 raised for Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Baby Bank

Apr 2022 - Glasgow pubs - £2600 raised for DEC Appeal for Ukraine

Dec 2021 - Kilsyth streets- £6000 raised, split between Jeannie's Weans, Strathcarron Hospice, Robert Chebe foundation,  Kilsyth Thistle Pipe Band, People United for Banton, Croy community hub, Kilsyth senior citizens, Queenzieburn senior citizens
